A weakening shortwave will move through the region today, spreading some scattered showers to our region, especially in the southern portion of the state. High pressure will reaffirm its hold over the western US tomorrow, with highs nearing the century mark by Friday. There is the possibility for another round of precipitation sometime around next midweek.
